And replaying the remastered version really cemented for me just how solid Prime is and how impressive it is that Retro nailed so many things on their first go it's up there with Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time when it comes to translating the core of a series from 2D into 3D, for sure. Easily a top 10 game for me, could maybe even be a top 5 on a good day. I don't think I'd personally say it's my favorite game or Nintendo's absolute greatest, but it's definitely earned a spot in those conversations. I completely get where you're coming from.
